Semperfli Natural CDC Feathers – 1g Box

Semperfli Natural CDC feathers provide 1 gram of fly-tying material in a protective box. Supplied loose rather than compressed into a packet, the delicate feathers have room to retain their shape and fine fibre structure.

Open the box at your tying bench and select a soft, lightweight feather for a dry-fly wing, emerger or mobile collar. CDC adds movement and a delicate profile without excessive bulk, making it useful for sparse river flies and stillwater patterns alike.

Natural CDC for fly tying

CDC, or Cul de Canard, has fine, branched fibres that trap air and respond to subtle movement. It is particularly useful for flies designed to sit in or close to the surface film, while its soft fibres also add movement to subsurface patterns.

• Dry-fly and emerger wings for olives, mayflies, midges and sedges.
• Lightweight posts for parachute patterns.
• Twisted or dubbed bodies and thoraxes.
• Soft hackles, legs and collars for nymphs and wet flies.

Each box contains 1g of CDC feathers. Choose Natural White, Natural Light Gray or Natural Dark Gray.

The protective box helps prevent the feathers from becoming flattened during storage and keeps your material together between tying sessions.
